Oh, wow. It HAS been a while, hasn't it?

It's been zooey around here, with the new job, new schedule, and various illnesses of family, friends, and even myself. (Nasty stomach flu this weekend - I'm still weak and woozy, so forgive me if this post is only semi-coherent.) Plus, we've had guests and more phone calls and e-mails from friends than usual - this is a good thing, but it doesn't lend itself to frequent blog updates.

So, onto what's going on with Kiddo:

Veronica is really trying to crawl now, or at least become more mobile in any fashion possible, and is getting very frustrated at her inability to do so. Her new phrase is "Hi!" She says it by itself, or along with "Hi there!", "Hi-ya!", or "Hi-cah," which is her version of "Hi kitty." ("Hi there!" comes out in various ways - most of which are only understood by me or Jason.) And she says "da-da" and "daddy" a lot too - many times, actually in relation to Jason. This makes him all shades of happy, and makes me smile as well.

We have a lot going on lately. We might've found a buyer for our 1977 Grand Prix. We've got suite seats to see Prince in April. I don't mean that they're "sweet", although they are. No, they're in a SUITE. Jason has a friend who works for Schottenstein's. And Dave, my drum teacher from over a decade ago, is coming to town with Edwin McCain this month - since I haven't seen him since 1990, I'm completely psyched. :-)

So that's all the news I can think of now. More later, and hopefully sooner than before.
