Well, it finally happened: Veronica discovered the cat. And that's a good thing.

One of her favorite things to do now is watch Pita walking around. If Pita is close enough to her, she grabs at her fur. If this is around Pita's ears (Veronica's favorite place to grab), Pita thinks she's being petted and just purrs away. If Veronica goes for her back, she grabs big handfulls of fur and pulls them up, holding on tight - the first time she did this with both hands, she laughed out loud. Pita isn't really thrilled with this but tolerates it. I have such a great cat.

Veronica grabs for EVERYTHING now. She loves grabbing my hair, my clothes, you name it. Her current favorite toy is a little plush rattle, shaped like a butterfly, that has little flaps on the wings that pull down to reveal tiny mirrors. She talks to it and grabs for it all the time.

That's basically all the news now. We have to go pick up the latest pictures at the photo shop, so here's hoping they turn out well...and that I'll be able to update the picture page with at least one or two of them. :-)
